Maison de Guittard is an old town house built in 1935 by the Guittard family, who have used it as a Summer retreat for decades and it is located in the picturesque town of Souillac in the South of France, a one hour drive North of Toulouse.

The house comprises of an elaborate entrance hall and staircase with grandfather clock and original tapestry wall hangings.

The main facilities are an exquisite dining room, which opens up into a cosy living area with French doors to the balcony that provides the house with views of the Dordogne Valley. From the balcony the study can be accessed which has been decorated in traditional French floral wallpapers and provides a tranquil relaxation space.

This impressive house also comprises 4 to 5 bedrooms and is suitable for accommodating 10 people.

The grounds of the house provide a marvellous area to relax under the shade of the trees or for your children to take part in various activities from soccer, table tennis and the traditional French game of bols.

The house also comes with an adjoing 3 bedroom apartment and indoor children's play are, which leads to a covered decking area suitable for 10 people to dine.

The Dordogne region of France is steeped in history and beauty. Souillac Town is recognised as the entrance to the Dordogne when driving from Paris. Although its history is fragmented, it still remains a historic atmosphere with its crumbling abbey and narrow streets in the old town. As the hub for this Region of the Lot and the Dordogne there is always plenty going on.
